Benedikte Klüver is a Danish artist based in Berlin. Klüver was awarded a BA in Interaction Design Arts from London College of Communication in 2020, before she continued to Slade School of Fine Art where she was awarded an MFA in Fine Art (painting) in 2022.
Klüver’s paintings demonstrate an investigative affection for colour. Working impulsively, she explores through minimal scapes of colour the unexpected relations as the paint glides, hugs and teases the composition to life.
Inspired by her surroundings, in particular architecture and landscapes, she seeks out contrasting compositions which challenge each other in shape and colour.
Working across painting, film photography and tapestry, Klüver is influenced by each of their processes as she explores their contrasting physicality and behaviour towards colour.
